The backlight bulbs on all C-more panels are rated at 50,000 hours (half-life). That's almost 6 years of continuous operation. Turn on the "screen saver" feature to extend the bulb life even further, or use the Event Manager to dim the backlight settings at predetermined times, or whenever the machinery is idle (based on a PLC tag). C-more 8", 10", 12" and 15" units even have field replaceable backlight bulbs, to preserve your investment even further. 6" units have factory replacement bulbs through AutomationDirect's repair center.

Automation Direct's existing EZTouch product has limited life bulbs - 25,000 hour - in some units. Some other manufacturers only use 15,000 hour bulbs. Buyer beware!
