Use the D-SUB 15-pin 90-degree Comm Port Adapter (EA-ADPTR-4) when low profile panel mounting is desired. This adapter allows the serial cable to be connected to the panel from below. When installed, this adapter adds 0.333 inches to the overall depth of the C-more panel. Drawings of the adapter and the adapter mounted to a 6" C-more panel are shown below. The increase in panel mounting depth of 0.333 inches is consistent across all C-more panel sizes (for comparison: a serial cable connected horizontally - without this adapter - increases the panel mounting depth by about 2.5 inches).
